Hi! My name is Liliana Ruvalcaba and I am a junior at the University of Southern California. I
am majoring in Health and the Human Sciences as well as minoring in Health Care Studies and
Natural Science. I am also working towards an M.A. in Medical Gerontology through the USC
Leonard Davis School of Gerontology. I have also been a research assistant in two research
studies conducted through the USC Leonard Davis. I am from Pomona, CA where I have
volunteered at Pomona Valley Hospital and ParkTree Community Health Center. I am passionate
about interacting with those in my community. Some of my research interests include how
culture and socioeconomic factors influence health and healthcare. In my free time I enjoy
playing softball with the USC Club Softball team, watching movies, and trying new restaurants
in Downtown Los Angeles with my family and friends.
